Plesh Creative Group, Inc. was founded as Plesh & Associates in 1986 by Jim Plesh, who recognized a need in the social expression industry for expert, creative talent to service smaller publishers requiring a superior product to compete with the larger, established companies. Initially working with several companies in the USA and abroad, one company emerged as the best prepared and most dedicated to producing a product of merit. That company, Freedom Greeting Cards, Inc., and PCGI, have enjoyed a very close and mutually rewarding association. The combined efforts of PCGI and Freedom have led to innovative product lines that are now recognized in the industry for their exceptional creativity and outstanding quality. From their first meeting, Jay Levitt, president of Freedom, and Jim Plesh have enjoyed a very close working relationship, as both envisioned the same goals of accomplishment and criteria of excellence. From Louie awards and trend setting card collections to creative marketing, PCGI and Freedom have grown as companies, and grown closer in their unique relationship. Today, PCGI works as the exclusive creative arm of all the Freedom and Rep-artee' card lines. However, the creative services of PCGI, from consulting to creation, concept to completion, are available to manufacturers and publishers outside of the greeting card product market or those not in direct competition with the Freedom or Rep-Artee' card lines. Thousands of designs and popular, proven creative properties are available for licensing in all markets.

The artists, writers and photographers of PCGI are among the best in the social expression, gift and stationery industries. Many are accomplished fine artists while others are established, professional graphic designers, cartoonists and photographers. The talented editorial group, from the sensitive writings of Jessica St. James to the contemporary humor of the popular Cheers collection, are comprised of successful poets, writers and authors.
